A Funeral during the
Coronavirus Pandemic
- The Restrictions and Your Choices

The latest easing of restrictions regarding gatherings for funerals in Queensland;

  • A funeral service held at an indoor venue; up to 200 people or 1 person per 2 square metres, whichever is greater.
  • A funeral service held at an outdoor space (e.g. graveside) does not have occupant density limits and contact information is not required to be collected.
  • A funeral service held at a private residence; up to 100 people – including staff

The Pioneers Room will now cater for 70 people and guests are no longer limited to an allocated seat, however buffet is still not allowed, so guests will be served individually by staff. We welcome this opportunity to provide you with a safe place to talk, share your sadness and help you celebrate the life of your loved one.
