Casual funeral transfer officer/funeral assistant

This role will see the successful applicant employed on a casual / on call basis with your main responsibility being to act in response to "First Calls" from health care related staff requesting attendance to their deceased patients. You will provide transportation for the deceased from their home, nursing home or hospital to the mortuary facilities on site. The position will include an on-call component between the hours of midnight to 6.00 am

The second function of this vital role will be to provide assistance to the funeral directors during the funeral services. You will be a "hands on" member of their multi-skilled funeral team. The responsibilities in this role will include:
